Week 45 in review: Dimensity 9200 is here, Infinix Zero 5G 2023 official

Another week in the books, let’s look at the top stories from the past seven days. The Xiaomi 13 is going all flat. The new design was revealed in renders and we also have dimensions – 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm. The camera bump takes it to 10.3mm of thickness. The phone is also reported to be running on the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

We also saw renders of the Xiaomi 13 Pro and it has Xiaomi’s current design language with a slim, contoured frame and a curved glass panels on either side. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to pack the same 1” IMX989 sensor as the 12S Ultra. The 13 series could launch as soon as December.

The Leica Leitz Phone 2 was unveiled in Japan. The new device shares its key hardware with the Sharp Aquos R7 but offers a more robust design with textured metal sides, Leitz branding, and a metal cap for the rear camera. The back has the same 47MP main camera with a 1” sensor. The Sharp and Leica co-developed sensor brings a seven-element Leica Summicron lens with F/1.9 aperture and 19mm focal length.

The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 went official with a Dimensity 1080 chip, 6.78-inch IPS LCD of 120Hz refresh rate and 50MP main camera. Word’s still out on pricing and availability.
