This talk is about nineteenth-century American art with an emphasis on the Hudson River School. Artists covered include Benjamin West, John Singleton Copley, Thomas Cole, Frederic Church, Albert Bierstadt, Winslow Homer, Thomas Eakins and William Merritt Chase.
