
vivo is set to unveil the V70 series today at an event in New Delhi, India. The lineup includes the V70 and V70 Elite, with the latter being the first “Elite” model in vivo’s V Series. The launch event will begin at 12 PM IST (6:30 AM UTC), and you can follow it with us by tuning in to the stream below.
vivo hasn’t detailed the V70 and V70 Elite’s specs sheets yet, but it has confirmed that the V70 and V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, respectively, making these smartphones the first in the V Series to have a Qualcomm chip at the helm.
vivo has also revealed the design and colors of the V70 and V70 Elite. Both smartphones will be available in Passion Red color, with Lemon Yellow exclusive to the V70, and Sand Beige and Authentic Black exclusive to the V70 Elite.
Additionally, vivo confirmed some features of the V70 Elite, including a 6.59″ 120Hz screen having 5,000 nits peak brightness, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 and IP69 ratings.

The vivo V70 Elite will pack a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 90W charging and multi-scenario bypass charging. For photography, the smartphone features four cameras co-developed with ZEISS: a 50MP primary, a 50MP telephoto, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie camera.
The V70 Elite will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box and receive up to four OS version upgrades and six years of security updates.
