Donald Trump is holding a press conference today at noon EDT (9 a.m. local time) at his Los Angeles-area golf club. What’s the topic? The Trump campaign didn’t say. But it’s a safe bet that it will be pretty bonkers. Last month Trump held an impromptu press conference to highlight Kamala Harris’s lack of media appearances and wound up delivering an hour-long stream-of-consciousness mix of factually dubious laments and attacks on his political foes. At another event last Friday he attacked his sexual misconduct accusers and criticized his own lawyers while standing right next to them. What will he say today, days after shouting about dog-eating conspiracy theories on national TV and proclaiming in an incoherent Truth Social post “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”?
