Cronos (CRO) has unveiled an enticing new giveaway campaign aimed at rewarding early supporters of its zkEVM bridge. The campaign, dubbed the “Pioneer’s Passage to Treasures,” offers a total prize pool of $30,000 in zkCRO, distributed among 10 lucky winners. Each winner will receive $3,000 in zkCRO, according to Cronos.

The giveaway is designed to celebrate the milestone of 30 million CRO tokens deposited into the Cronos zkEVM bridge. The campaign kicked off on July 4 and will run until the zkEVM mainnet launch. Participants can deposit either CRO (Ethereum/Cronos EVM) or LCRO (Cronos EVM) tokens into the zkEVM bridge to be eligible for the prize. The more tokens deposited, the higher the chances of winning.
How to Participate
To participate, users need to visit the Cronos zkEVM bridge page and lock their assets. Those who have already deposited tokens before the announcement are automatically eligible for the giveaway. No additional steps are required.
Additional Benefits
All participants will receive their deposited CRO converted into zkCRO at the mainnet launch. Additionally, depositors will earn loyalty points through the Pioneer Program, which can be redeemed for various benefits and rewards in participating decentralized applications (dApps).
